It all started with a conversation on our (Sarah & Mike) first date, which looking back probably involved too much wine and a wild idea to escape the 9-5 grind. We opened the campsite in July 2021 and have worked extremely hard to make our dream a reality.

Regular campers have watched the site evolve from a humble piece of grass with a lonely portaloo (An architectural masterpiece if you ask us) to a full on camping/touring haven complete with a fancy shower and toilet block. Next came 9 proper set out pitches, electric points and glamping accommodations so luxurious we occasionally consider moving in ourselves. We then added shingle roads as nothing says 'High class camping' like gravel stuck in your flip-flops.

Podge (Mikes dad) farms the surrounding land and doubles as our grass - cutting, firewood chopping super hero. 

Julie (Sarah's mum) handles the bedding because Sarah's idea of ironing involves flattening things under a pile of books.
